Hangover Mix Vol.9: Delorentos

Delorentos are currently on tour, having just played a massively well-recieved set at SXSW. They'll be hitting Italy for some dates at the start of April before returning to these shores to play FM 104's 'The Gig' on April 6th in the Olympia. Also on the bill for this show are The Blizzards, The Coronas, Aslan and Television Room- with all proceeds going to Temple Street Children's Hospital.
Check out Delorentos myspace here for updates, and links to their increasingly crazy tour diaries.

FAQ's: How to list a gig on the map
This is an Audiograff FAQ post. To see all FAQ posts, click here
Adding your gigs is really easy, and only takes a few seconds. When you submit a listing, it gets shown on the Main Map and on your Tour Map.
Start by entering the name of the venue. If the venue is in our database, you can select it from the drop down list. If the venue isn't in our database, you can enter the street address of the venue in order to plot it on the map. Don't worry, you'll only have to do this once...when a new venue is added to Audiograff, it will be added to the drop down list.
With the correct street address details, the venue will be automatically pinned on the map by Googles geocoding service. Very rarely, a street address will not be in Googles database and it will fail to geocode. If the address fails to geocode, you can simply drag the blue pin to where you think the venue should be. You can zoom in on the map to pin the exact spot. The venue will now be added to our database so the next time you or someone else types it in, it will appear in the drop down.
Fill in the date and time of your event. You must know the correct date to make a listing, but if you don't know the exact time the gig will take place, estimate for now and you can update the listing later on.
If you know the Ticket price, you can fill it in so your fans know how much it'll cost them. If it's a free gig, type in '0', and it'll be displayed as Free. If you don't know the ticket price, simply leave it blank and no price will be displayed.
If you like, you can enter additional information about the gig. Example "Supporting XYZ", "First gig of the UK tour", "Playing some tracks off the new EP" etc etc...whatever you think your fans should know!
When you're done, click "Save Changes" and your gig will be added to the map. You can come back any time and edit a listing by highlighting it in the "Your Events" box, or clicking its pin on the map.
By the way, if you want to add in some of your past events, you can do so by filling in the date they took place. Your past gigs will show up on your Tour Map when someone clicks "show past events"!

CSS: Music is my Hot Hot Sex is the most viewed video of all time on YouTube

by Evil Bob, @ Egoeccentric
Apparently this video has broken the record previously set by the Evolution of Dance by getting more than 100 Million views on the site.
I've a feeling its a lot to do with the name of the title being a whole lot of commonly searched words words not to mention the fact that the tags on the video are:
cansei, de, ser, sexy, Music, Ipod, touch, commercial, hot, sex, boyfriend, music, apple, nick, haley, computer, qoob, Barack, Obama.
The videos below but I should warn you that it does not feature anything resembling Hot Hot Sex

FAQ's: Getting your gigs listed
This is an Audiograff FAQ post. To see all FAQ posts, click here.
Does it cost anything to list gigs?
It's 100% free, and will always be free for users to post up gig listings
I want to submit listings for several acts, how should I do this?
You will have to have separate log in details for each act. But don't worry, adding events is very quick and easy. We will be implementing features in the future to allow for bulk artist management to make it even more efficient.
I'm not a band, but I'm organising a party that I want to put on the map. Is this ok?
Of course. Just include all relevant info in the listing so people know what to expect.
Do I need to think about timezones?
All listings on Audiograff are according to local times.
Can people download my tracks?
No, songs on Audiograff are streaming only.
What is the copyright situation with uploading tracks?
Audiograff do not retain any rights to material uploaded.
I don't know exact details about a gig I want to submit, what should I do?
Listings don't always have to be 100% accurate, but for the sake of your fans and people wishing to see you live, you should try and be as informative as possible. If a time or date is unclear, include this in the misc information, and when you have exact details, you can edit your event to update the listing.
How do I show my friends my listings?
Every Audiograff member has a unique tour map URL, which shows only their listings. Tour maps are accessible via the info bubbles on the main map, or through your Edit Profile page. Send the URL to your friends so they can check out your Audiograff tour map!
Can I add gigs that I have played in the past?
Yep, just fill out the info about when and where they happened as you would with an upcoming gig. These gigs will be displayed on your Tour Map when someone clicks "View past events".
Nerdcore for life

by ctrl/alt/delete @ Egoeccentric
Nerdcore hip hop, or geeksta rap, is a subgenre of hip hop music characterized by themes and subject matter considered to be of general interest to nerds, though it can appeal to others as well. Self-described nerdcore musician MC Frontalot coined the term in 2000 in the song "Nerdcore Hiphop".Frontalot, like most nerdcore artists, self-publishes his work and has released much of it for free online. As a niche genre, nerdcore generally holds to the DIY ethic, has a history of self-publishing and self-production.

Currently two feature length documentaries about the world of Nerdcore Hip-Hop are in the works, Nerdcore Rising and Nerdcore For Life. Nerdcore Rising, directed by New York filmmakers Negin Farsad and Kimmy Gatewood, follows Nerdcore pioneer MC Frontalot as he embarked on his first US tour in 2006. Nerdcore For Life by Chicago director Dan Lamoureux examines the genre as a whole and contains appearances by over two dozen of the best known performers in the scene.
